Pesto is a sauce that is not only popular in Italy but is also widely used in various cuisines around the world. It is easy to prepare and can be added to many dishes. Therefore, it is ideal for quick pasta recipes.
We will need:
- Onion — 125 g
- Pesto sauce — 2.5 tablespoons
- Olive oil — 2 tablespoons
- Parmesan cheese — 2 tablespoons
- Pasta — 450 g
Method of preparation:
- The most difficult and time-consuming part of this recipe is cooking the pasta. Put the pasta in boiling salted water and cook it for the amount of time indicated on the package to achieve an al dente texture. If no time is specified, cook the pasta for 2 minutes less.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a frying pan and wash, peel, and chop the onion. Then add the pesto, onion, and seasonings to the heated pan and fry for about five minutes, stirring until the onion is soft.
- Then, in a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese.
